Nala the teacup poodle may not look like a force to be reckoned with–but think again. Owner Doug Dawson brings the tiny bundle of goodness to work with him at a St. Paul, Minnesota senior housing facility where she doles out love, affection, comfort, and kindness to the residents. Nala sets her own schedule, needing nothing more than help with the elevator buttons, and seemingly seeks out those who need her most, especially patients with Alzheimer’s.

“She’s here for a purpose, I believe,” Dawson told USA Today, “She’s really doing God’s work.” We couldn’t agree more!
