Staying Active With An Early Diagnosis

Linda was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and after her diagnosis she struggled on whether or not to share that information with other people because of the judgement and opinions that would come with the news. She is involved in many different Alzheimer’s activities such as the choir, art classes, and has found a loving and understanding community. She says that her quality of life has increased since her diagnosis, because it forced her to become involved with activities that she would never have attempted before.

Hear her story in the video.
