Sign Painter Retiring But Makes Sure Employee Stays On.

When Randy Mueller decided to retire from his grocery sign painting business that he started as a high schooler, he made sure one of his employees, Patrick, stayed on with the new owner. Patrick has a learning disability and has worked for Randy for 17 years. Their connection goes deeper than most employer/employee relationships, however. Randy's son also had a learning disability which was caused by a brain tumor that eventually killed him.
The job has allowed Patrick to get his own home and Randy regularly treats him to breakfast with their favorite waitress, who they have dubbed “Pam & Eggs”.
Best of luck to Randy and Patrick in this new chapter!
