Take a Tour of the Memory Arts Cafe with PBS and Poet Leaureate Natasha Trethewey!

The Memory Arts Cafe, which is run by the New York Memory Center’s poet-in-residence Gary Glazner, is an incredible project that brings art and community into the lives of people who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and memory loss — however, every event is free and open to the public!

Programs like this go a long way toward prolonging quality of life for people with memory-related afflictions, and — as you can see from the video — they bring a lot of joy to a lot of people. Learn more about this amazing program and others like it in the video!
