Don’t Be Scared: A Family Showcases Its Experience with Alzheimer’s

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to have Alzheimer’s or to live with and care for someone who did? Does the idea ever frighten you? Then this might be the video you need to see today.

Alzheimer’s, of course, is a frightening disease both for those who have it and those who care for loved ones who have it. The condition robs its victims of their memories, little by little, until they don’t know where they are or who is there with them. But, just like with any other situation, attitude is key.

This lovely little family of three is showing that a good disposition can make life with Alzheimer’s not only bearable but also pleasant. And they’ve been filming their life for a year and a half just so you could hear their message loud and clear: Don’t be scared.

Watch the video below to see why this family believes life doesn’t have to stop when you’re diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
