Alzheimer’s Research Touches Us All

It’s never easy on a family when Alzheimer’s hits. As they slowly see the changes in their loved ones, it’s hard for some to admit there is a problem since many don’t want to admit there really is a problem. For Mary Crack it was at the age of 59 that her family began to see the changes in her. From making mistakes in recipes she loved to not being able to dress or bathe herself, her daughter Vivenne finally put her food down and knew they needed to get help.

Watch as this father and daughter talk about Mary’s battle with Alzheimer’s and their commitment to never leave her side. Through sickness and health despite the fact that Mary no longer is able to communicate, her husband visit her four times a week. Let’s support Alzheimer’s research to make families like Mary’s life a little bit easier.
